Light and Shadow: Prologue
Following the light, the entrance hall begins. With the entrance hall as the axis, the living, dining, and kitchen areas were created, extending horizontally and dividing vertically. In response to the diverse needs of the residents, non-load-bearing walls in the original structure were removed, creating a maximum open space. Natural light pours in through floor-to-ceiling windows, flowing freely throughout every inch of the space, casting a gentle halo of light.

Color & Rhythm
The color palette of the space echoes the occupants’ moods. A palette of black, white, gray, and beige creates a calming foundation. A relaxed rhythm of life flows through the space in a low-key manner. A few pops of vibrant color punctuate the space, creating a subtle visual contrast and achieving a delicate balance. The living room’s pillars are cleverly complemented by a modular sofa, adding visual interest and interactive elements. The adjacent lounge area is a poetic extension of the living room, accommodating a few friends for casual conversation or a place for solitary meditation.

The open layout creates a coherent yet relatively independent flow between the kitchen and the dining room. Across all four seasons, the most down-to-earth everyday life is integrated. Gathering around the round table, clinking glasses, laughter and joy permeate the space.
