2025 IID 🏆 Awards

Gold Winner – Qi House by Yongfeng Group | HÉZI Interior Design

This project takes the concept of a “livable jewelry box” as its core design narrative, transforming the qualities of a jewelry box—refined storage, layered brilliance, and intimate protection—into a spatial language. Inspired by diamond-cut rhombic geometry, the space uses velvet, leather, metallic trims, and luxury stone to create an elegant, tactile, and ritual-rich living experience.

The International Interior Design Awards 2026 are now open for entries, inviting creative professionals and emerging designers from around the world to showcase their finest work on a global platform. This prestigious competition celebrates innovation, excellence, and visionary interior design across diverse categories. Foyer

As the first “unboxing moment”, the foyer introduces floating jewelry-box cabinetry with off-white leather, diamond-like beveled cuts, and custom metal handles. The circulation path avoids direct visibility, offering progressively revealed views of the dining area, staircase, living room stone wall, and garden—mirroring the layered surprises of opening a jewelry box.

Dining Room

Symmetry and rhombic motifs continue through a glass sideboard outlined with metal inlay, displaying tableware under soft light. The back of the foyer cabinet forms a natural dining backdrop, while the room’s orderly geometry elevates daily meals into refined rituals.

Living Room

Shandong’s family-focused culture inspires an enclosed sofa layout. A luxury stone TV wall echoes gemstone materiality, while the sliding-door TV cabinet mimics an opening jewelry box—its silent track and rhombic trims enhancing the sense of ceremony as family gathers.

Staircase

Shaped like a “fishbone necklace”, the staircase incorporates tiny rhombic metal inlays along step edges. It serves as a visual and functional link between dining and living spaces, turning movement into a tactile, jewelry-like experience.

Master Bedroom Suite

Conceived as a “private treasure compartment”, the suite integrates symmetry, cashmere-textured sliding doors, and woven leather rhombic patterns. The study acts as an intimate “treasure corner”, while the master bathroom features an octagonal, diamond-cut mirror cabinet that lights up softly when opened.

Basement

Designed as a “private collection area”, the basement includes a tea mezzanine, billiards zone, and wine-cigar room. A dramatic octagonal-cut fireplace wall—crafted like a giant gemstone facet—anchors the space, reflecting the design language of the master suite and creating shimmering, layered light effects.

Overall, the project builds a home where everyday interactions embody jewelry-level refinement, elegance, and emotional warmth.
