SHVO reimagined 711 Fifth Avenue under the direction of world-renowned design architect Peter Marino. Disrupting the conventional corporate lobby experience, the 1,600-square-foot lobby was revitalized with an emphatic hospitality sensibility featuring tailored artisanal finishes that reinforce a signature identity and ambiance with curated art and collector-grade furniture. Sophisticated infrastructure upgrades augment a contemporary and seamless tenant experience.
The lobby’s specialty finishes include hand-plastered faux moon-gold walls by Fresco Decorative Arts, articulated texturized leather at the reception desk by Mongiardo Studio, high-gloss palmwood panels with ribbed detailing in the elevator lobby, a custom hand-sculpted bronze glazed ceramic fireplace surround by Peter Lane Studio and gold-leafed textured metal elevator doors. Featuring custom furnishings by Peter Marino, from the upholstered Poltrona Frau club chairs and verre églomisé moon-gold glass top coffee tables to two bronze boxes with a “deep water” texture on the cabinet doors, 711 Fifth Avenue evokes a hotel setting or private residence more than a typical office.
