Arkhyz is a dynamically developing region, known for its unique and diverse nature. Thousands of tourists come here every year to enjoy the fresh air, the beauty of the mountains and forests, the picturesque landscapes, active sports in winter, leisurely walks, the hospitality and cordiality of the locals.

The new Caucasus airport, being small and cozy, will nevertheless make the resorts much more accessible, significantly reducing travel time.

The terminal is oriented towards the road leading to the resorts of Arkhyz and is located not far from the hub transport stations on the picturesque bank of the Bolshoy Zelenchug River. The inspiration for the architectural image was the rich nature of Arkhyz.

The foothills covered with forest, the bizarre shape of mountain lakes and hills with meadow flowers, the graceful outline of fir seeds – all this reflects a sensitive attention to environmental friendliness, the desire to create a truly authentic image, organically integrated into the environment.

The building has the shape of a triangle with softly rounded corners, softly integrated into the surroundings. The green courtyard-atrium and green roof enhance the associations with nature embedded in the image.

The airport is surrounded by a territory with a convenient, spacious parking lot and a landscaped park with recreation areas. The lines of the landscaping elements harmonize with the outlines of the building, and the entire complex organically and picturesquely complements the surrounding landscape. The main entrance area is located under a projecting volume of green roof, which is supported by a system of diverging wooden columns. The wooden finish makes them look like bundles of pine needles, which emphasizes the integrity of the idea.
