The scope of activities involved the construction of a new company office block. The macro objectives of the project were to create an office that was aesthetically in line with the values of the company, while at the same time creating working environments in which staff can express their full potential.

Focusing on user-centricity was the key strategic approach. We started by analysing the requirements of the people who would be working in the new offices, creating an anonymous online questionnaire and then turning every response we received into actions for the project. Creating a working environment that is as welcoming and enjoyable as possible proved to be a strategy with tangible results, as it has been proven that an employee who feels comfortable performs better both operationally and in terms of interacting with others, with positive benefits for the company.

The work is characterised by the use of curved and sinuous shapes, in the conformation of the spaces and the furnishings: neuroscience teaches us that this type of morphology is more congenial to the human being because it stems from nature and the teachings it has always given us, which unconsciously translates into a greater willingness towards working and collaboration. The materials chosen are natural and a concept of “biophilia” has been implemented: the new spaces are permeated by the presence of plants, used both to exploit the biophysical properties of indoor vegetation and as a scenographic element of green interior design.
