With lush greenery, agriculture, pottery, and fishing, it draws inspiration from the “Mountain-Sea Homestead,” making every design detail a dance between art and inspiration, abstractly interpreting the new vibe of Cangnan life. DoubleTree by Hilton Cangnan embraces the landscape between the mountains and the sea with an inclusive gesture, sketching a vision of life in southern Zhejiang. The design integrates the spatial forms of traditional Jiangnan gardens with the layout of Han and Tang dynastic palaces, resulting in a collection of courtyards conducive to leisurely living and exploration.
The hotel is closely connected from the outside to the inside, returning from nature to humanity. The entrance of the lobby is extracted from the shape of Faberge eggs, symbolizing abundance and rebirth. 888 hand-blown azaleas in bloom symbolize health, beauty and strength.
The lobby bar features a high-grade dark marble floor and grey walls, creating a black, white and grey tone. The warm texture of natural wood permeates it, while the comfortable and leisurely atmosphere is as relaxing as returning home.
The all-day dining restaurant takes a modern approach to tradition. The overall earthy tones are embellished with orange and blue, and there is no lack of detail in the contrasting materials. These shelves made of glass and metal, combined with the warm lights and mirrors at the top, illuminate the tea bar. There are rhythmic lines, stylish atmosphere and comfort.
The Chinese restaurant integrates traditional and modern design, with symmetry running through the structure of the space and the layout of the dining tables and chairs. The geometric relief patterns on the ceiling create a colorful light and shadow. The private rooms of Chinese restaurant are wrapped in pastel colored finishes with oriental motifs seamlessly integrated with contemporary furniture.
The banqueting lounge is designed using modern techniques, with rich regional wall decorations that better integrate tradition and fashion. The unique seating arrangement in the banquet hall aims to stimulate dialogue and interaction. The angular shape of the space exudes endless vitality and imagination, and resembles the brick wall texture of the ancient town in southern Zhejiang.
Various multi-functional venues are designed to define space in different forms, where natural and artificial light sources complement each other, and they are intertwined to create an ever-changing visual effect between light and shadow.
The hotel has a total of 329 rooms, including 35 suites. The furnishings, details, and lighting in various places are all telling the mood of Cangnan, where the simple beauty of nature and the deep affection of humanity reflect each other.
Original wood and white lay out the elegant aesthetics of the guest room, and the orange-red TV background wall and decorative paintings brighten up the color of the space. Customized furniture and fabrics with artistic aesthetics, customized leather upholstery details and lamps designed with different light sources are all derived from localized visual symbols.
