Jinqi Bridge is strategically located at the entrance of Guangzhou International Financial City, connecting the commercial area to the north with the upscale residential area to the south. The design concept, “Tide Rising in Financial City,” incorporates smooth curves to reflect the dynamic beauty and vitality of ocean waves, symbolizing the city’s robust development and creating a vibrant space for diverse urban interactions. The overall form of the bridge offers a unique spatial experience, with materials and colors harmonizing with the surrounding mid-to-high-end commercial districts, achieving a symbiotic relationship between the city and its infrastructure.

User experience is prioritized, with benches placed under the canopies on both sides, providing comfortable viewing and resting spaces. Especially at night, enhanced by changing lighting, these benches become popular spots for people to pause and enjoy a moment of tranquility amidst the bustling city life. Flowerbeds planted with local Lingnan flora adorn both sides, highlighting the city’s floral character.
Jinqi Bridge is not merely a functional structure for connectivity; it serves as a scenic and artistic bridge, designed to create a multifunctional space for passage, relaxation, and observation. It aligns with the residential and commercial functions at both ends, offering a fresh perspective in the city’s core and becoming a landscape balcony for the International Financial City.
