Brand

Radisson RED is a premium hotel brand known for its fresh approach to traditional hospitality. It aims to invigorate the industry with informal services, a relaxed atmosphere, and eye-catching spaces designed to inspire both guests and locals.

Architecture and Design

Radisson RED is recognized for its bold design, emphasizing memorable aesthetic experiences. The interior design aims to leave a lasting impression while reflecting the brand’s DNA—informality, a relaxed atmosphere, and a fresh approach to hospitality.

The interiors feature shades of red complemented by olive accents and walnut wooden details. The energetic color palette is paired with rich textures and noble materials. Authentic, raw structural elements and exposed installations contrast with designer furniture and lighting. The design is enriched with soft materials—carpets, upholstery, wall coverings, felts, velvets, mohairs, boucles—and plants, along with unique decorations and artwork inspired by local Kraków motifs.

A striking feature of the hotel is the open atrium, spanning the entire height of the building, with panoramic elevators and a unique light installation of 170 openwork lamps. The theatrical interior is enhanced by a mirrored ceiling with Chicago theatres-style bulbs above the entrance. To the left of the entrance, a pool table and gaming machines contribute to the hotel’s informal and relaxed character. The lobby also features a sculpture of the Wawel Dragon in a RED-themed design.

Working with the brand book of such a strongly defined brand is a significant challenge for any designer. The goal was to create interiors for Radisson RED in Kraków that are unique, rich in local touches, and unconventional material combinations while maintaining the brand’s DNA and distinctive style – says Kamil Kowalik, leading architect and coordinator of the project.

Offerings

The property includes 229 meticulously designed rooms of various standards and 46 apartments. In the main hotel building, guests can choose from standard rooms, corner suites, junior suites, and the largest—presidential suite.

In a annex building, fully equipped, comfortable apartments range from 25 to 80 square meters. Guests can choose studio apartments or those with a separate bedroom, all featuring kitchenettes and most with covered terraces. These apartments are essentially homes designed to hotel standards. Some apartments boast exceptional bathrooms with large windows allowing natural light, with privacy ensured by liquid crystal film.

The hotel’s restaurant, Filini, offers a culinary journey through Italy. The menu, inspired by classic Italian recipes from various regions, combines local ingredients with a modern twist, presenting traditional Italian specialties in a unique way. The main hotel building houses a conference floor of approximately 300 square meters, offering spaces ranging from intimate boardrooms to a versatile hall accommodating up to 140 people. Guests also have access to a fitness area, sauna, and a self-service laundry.
