“Light and Light” 1: “Lightweight” and “Breaking Boundaries”

Originally a purely commercial department store, the design now allocates 60% of the area for commercial space and 40% for office space. This change introduces more open and flexible office and shared spaces on the third to fifth floors. People can choose to use traditional elevators, escalators, or open staircases to move between floors.

“Light and Light” 2: “Light” and “Communication”

The design plan retains the original moon-shaped skylight and restores the four-story central atrium. It introduces a newly designed sky step arch bridge connecting the second and third floors, a bridge on the fourth floor, a multi-purpose “media box” and performance balcony on the third floor, and a central activity space on the ground floor. This incorporation of abundant natural light enhances the space’s vibrancy, fluidity, and intimacy.

“Light and Light” “Light” 3: “Healing the Soul”

By removing the exterior walls and floor slabs on one side of the atrium, a three-story sky garden is introduced, becoming a landmark feature of the building’s facade and interior space. This garden allows people to enjoy fresh air, relax, or walk to the outdoor dining area on the street, creating more possibilities for balancing urban life and work. “Collection THE LIGHTBOX” exemplifies the integration of light, openness, and nature. There is no clear boundary between business formats. It inspires business and work inspiration through cross-business space creating a dynamic and inspiring environment for work, retail, dining, and play. It’s a stellar example of modern architectural innovation that prioritizes human experience and connectivity.
