The building sits along the waterfront and so maximizing this relationship and increasing the building frontage that benefits from direct views onto the water was an important factor within the design process. This led to the curving form that allowed for an extra 30% of apartments to have direct waterfront views, the fluid form of the building allows for the introduction of a small plaza that sits in front of the building becoming a focal point for external activity and allowing for an important sequence of spaces from water to square to building.

The design of the facades reinforces the fluidity of the overall form, the continuous treatment wraps around the building and the angled timber fins working as an accent within the façade to further emphasize the flowing articulation of the building. The fins change angle from floor to floor to highlight the horizontal articulation of the form.
The overall palette of materials is a response to the wider masterplan, with brickwork being used as the unifying dominant material across all buildings. The neutral coloring of brickwork is intended to bring out the warmth of the timber fins and make them a stronger element within the overall composition.
