The arrival experience sets the tone for the entire workplace. The reception area features directional floor patterns and arrow-shaped LED ceiling lights inspired by modern shipping routes, reinforcing SGL’s brand motif of forward momentum. This bold, dynamic entrance establishes a strong identity and communicates the company’s global reach from the very first step inside.
Moving into the main social and breakout area, our team created a vibrant hub that embodies the idea of “Dynamic Exchange.” Flight-path lighting elements, skyline silhouettes and container-like wall textures reference the world of logistics while maintaining a warm, people-centred atmosphere. Bar-style counters and modular seating encourage spontaneous connection, transforming the space into a lively environment for camaraderie, informal meetings and daily interaction.
In the meeting and collaborative zones, we focused on clarity, comfort and openness. A calm palette of soft grey, blue and natural wood tones creates an environment conducive to productive discussions and collective problem solving. A lush green wall serves as a key visual anchor, reflecting SGL’s sustainability goals while promoting well-being and creativity. These spaces were designed to support both strategic conversations and rapid decision-making with equal ease.
Brand immersion plays a purposeful role throughout the office. A bold container ship graphic anchors one of the collaborative areas, symbolising SGL’s ocean freight expertise and the scale of its global operations. Additional graphic elements, including a classic transport vehicle and a windmill backdrop, honour the industry’s legacy and highlight the company’s forward-looking values. These visuals act as meaningful touchpoints that bring SGL’s identity to life in a direct and engaging way.
For us, the project represents more than a new office. It is a thoughtfully crafted environment that strengthens Scan Global Logistics’ global identity, supports its people-first culture and aligns with its vision for continuous growth and innovation. Through purposeful detailing, strong brand integration and a design language grounded in movement, we created a workplace that reflects who SGL is today and the direction in which it continues to advance.
