Phase 1:

Launched in September 2012, the development introduced a state-of-the-art shopping mall. This world-class mall offers an unparalleled lifestyle experience, distinguishing itself from other commercial hubs by providing a wide range of dining options and featuring globally renowned brands. Visitors can indulge in luxury-focused shopping, with esteemed brands and the introduction of exclusive labels in Shenyang. The mall also boasts a boutique supermarket, an upscale cinema with 1020 seats, international dining choices, and various lifestyle services.

The mall’s architectural design incorporates shining curved elements, symbolizing the flowing river.

Phase 2:

In March 2015, one of the two office towers was unveiled. This towering structure stands impressively at a height of 350.6 meters and has become iconic landmarks along the “Golden Corridor.” This tower is named OT1. The low zone and mid-zone floors are Grade-A offices. It attracts multinational corporations and high-quality domestic tenants from diverse industries, including finance, professional services, technology, media, and telecommunications.

Additionally, Conrad Shenyang Hotel, a luxurious 6-star hotel under the Hilton Worldwide brand, occupies the top 19 floors of OT1. With 315 guest rooms and suites, the hotel offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city skyline. Conrad Shenyang officially opened its doors in 2019, providing an unparalleled hospitality experience.

The architectural design lantern-like crowns sparkle during the day and function as glowing beacons at nights. Upon the completion of the other tower named OT2, these twin tallest structures in Shenyang city centre will serve as an urban gateway facing the City Plaza.

Both the shopping mall and tower (OT1) have been awarded the “Certification under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Core and Shell Development – Gold Level” by the U.S. Green Building Council. This recognition highlights the incorporation of environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient features in the design and construction of these buildings.

Phase 3: The upcoming phase involves the construction of four interlocking service apartment towers designed with a similar aesthetic to OT1 and OT2 towers. These service apartment towers will further enhance the city’s skyline, contributing to its architectural grandeur. Conceived as a family of forums, the buildings are united through the use of a consistent curtain wall. The Forum Residences, an integral part of the Forum 66 Shenyang development, seamlessly integrates with the luxury retail mall, office towers, and the renowned Conrad Shenyang Hotel. It offers exclusive and upscale urban living options, providing residents with an exceptional residential experience.

WT serves as the Lead Consultant and Executive Architect for the Forum 66 project, collaborating with Kohn Pederson Fox Associates (KPF), who contribute as the Concept Design Architect. Together, we ensure that the development meets the highest standards of architectural excellence and urban design, creating a remarkable and harmonious urban environment.
