The Guanlan Commercial Plaza project features a 4-storey commercial building with a total land area of about 21,840.00 square meters, an above-ground construction area of 29,480.00 square meters, and one underground floor with a construction area of 16,031.00 square meters. The functional format of the project involves commercial MALL, catering, entertainment facilities, logistics rooms and ground parking lots, and there is a close and organic connection between all functional forms, aiming to create a business benchmark for the region.

The planning design continues the “L” shaped layout of the site, which is adjacent to the existing urban planning library. Enjoying rich surrounding ecological resources, the project gives way to the commercial main entrance plaza along the west side to create an urban interface. The south side of the project faces the east-west urban ecological central park, a landscape staircase is arranged to provide outdoor space for relaxation and socializing and maximize the introduction of the natural park into the project.
Architects take into account the local culture and draw inspiration from the facade of the adjacent planning exhibition library to incorporate waves and coastal reefs as facade elements. The facade with separated solid and empty elements provides an interactive urban window. The layout of the multiple ground levels brings about situational commerce and linkage with the landscape central axis, activating the urban stage and increasing the memory points of commercial quality. In addition, the design opens up the traditional commercial box and allows green ecology, quality life and social culture to run through it, creating an ecologically social urban complex.
In terms of the internal functional layout, the project can realize the flexible division of space and multi-functional utilization, thereby enhancing the comfort and convenience of the building. The design places the cinema and flagship stores at the road intersection to attract more people. At the same time, it also sets up catering formats facing the landscape belt, and arranges commercial outdoor stalls through the way of retreat to enhance the image of the city.
The construction of the project can consider making the structure of the building take the way of off-site construction to deliver in pieces. It uses standardized design, production, transportation, assembly, informatization management and other production methods to replace the traditional manual production mode, and realizes the industrialization and intensification of construction in the whole life cycle, so as to improve the construction quality and efficiency and realize resource conservation and environmental protection.
