Gold Winner – Hechengli路Shenzhen | PT Architecture Design (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

Situated in the central area of Pingshan, Shenzhen, the project benefits from convenient urban transportation and abundant landscape resources. Given the constraints of a relatively small effective area, a high plot ratio, layout limitations, diverse business forms, and the need to maintain adequate sunlight for residences to the north, the design was approached creatively. The overall layout is based on the urban context, employing compact square building forms, with the aim of creating a vibrant space where nature and urbanity blend seamlessly. The goal is to provide residents with an open, dynamic, and all-weather living environment for shared experiences.

The design places super-tall tower buildings around the semi-circular park on the southern side of the site to avoid shading the existing residences to the north and to capitalize on the scenic resources of the park. This arrangement allows more residents to enjoy exceptional panoramic views, showcasing a user-centric approach that significantly enhances the quality of life. Moreover, to align with the image of Pingshan’s central area, the facade design employs vertical lines to lend the towers a sleek and dynamic appearance. Varied tower heights contribute to an iconic skyline, adding a distinctive character to the city’s main interface.

Inspired by the concept of a “City in the Forest,” the commercial zone features staggered volumes that create numerous outdoor terraces. Combined with elevated gardens, these elements establish a pleasant and lively 24 open urban block. Along the street frontage, a sculptural and rhythmic urban interface is crafted to enhance the city’s visual appeal, harmonizing with the surrounding environment.
