The resort’s entrance is a striking architectural statement, carefully aligned with the winter solstice. This alignment not only honors regional traditions from the Mayan’s but also creates a powerful visual impact. The monumental design uses natural materials to evoke a timeless connection to the landscape while offering a seamless transition into the property’s interiors. This thoughtful approach sets the tone for the architectural narrative that unfolds throughout the resort.

Impression Moxché features eight levels of guest accommodations, culminating in the rooftop “Cielo,” which provides sweeping views of the lush surroundings. The pathways and corridors are designed with varying elevations, creating a dynamic spatial experience. Wide, open hallways invite exploration, enhancing the sense of grandeur and ease as guests navigate through the property. The spatial flow reflects careful planning, ensuring a balance between accessibility and aesthetic appeal.

Local materials such as limestone, marble, and sustainably sourced wood are key components of the resort’s design. These elements are seamlessly blended with modern features like large-format glass panels that bring in natural light and establish a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. Native vegetation is thoughtfully incorporated into the design, reinforcing the connection to the Riviera Maya’s natural beauty.

Dining at Secrets Moxché & Impression Moxché is both a culinary and architectural journey. The 14 dining venues are thoughtfully positioned along a central axis to maximize views of the artificial beach, a key visual element that brings natural light into the interiors. This arrangement not only enhances the dining experience but also creates a harmonious connection between indoor spaces and the resort’s lush surroundings. From the earthy, fire-inspired design of Ember to the celestial elegance of The Observatory, each venue is a unique architectural statement that complements its culinary offering.

Water features play a pivotal role in the resort’s architectural identity. The T-shaped central pool serves as a unifying element, connecting key areas with zones for relaxation, jacuzzis, and hammock spaces that enhance the tranquil atmosphere. Rooftop pools at “Cielo” and The Observatory provide exclusive retreats, while the resort boasts the unparalleled artificial beach created with real sand, designed to replicate the natural beauty and ambiance of a real Caribbean beach with always perfect conditions. This architectural achievement serves as a functional centerpiece, offering guests an outstanding sensory experience. The cenote-inspired pools further enhance the connection to the region’s natural heritage, blending organic forms with serene functionality.

The entertainment spaces are equally innovative. Gypsy, a hidden nightclub accessed through a pharmacy, surprises guests with its chic design and lively atmosphere. The triple-height theater accommodates up to 500 guests for immersive shows and dining experiences, while Dark Horse’s eclectic design combines vintage and contemporary elements, offering a unique ambiance. Additional amenities include a golf simulator and other interactive features, ensuring a dynamic experience for all visitors.

Secrets Moxché & Impression Moxché represent a benchmark in all inclusive hospitality architecture, showcasing how luxury, sustainability, and cultural authenticity can be seamlessly integrated. The project’s thoughtful design and execution create a destination that inspires and delights, setting new standards for architectural excellence in the Riviera Maya.
