The Times Financial Center project is located in the core area of Houjie Town, Dongguan City. The property is located above the Liaoxia Station of Metro Line 2, and the surrounding transportation is well-developed with a variety of new business formats. The project represents the urban image of Houjie in the new century and is committed to becoming the main hub of culture and commerce in the area.
- TWIN TOWERS
The project responds to the urban spatial relationships around the site through the
architectural image of the twin super towers, and is coordinated with the overall urban
design. Form a diverse and orderly urban skyline along Guantai Road, with a dense and
orderly urban spatial form. After completion, the architectural complex has created a highly
recognizable urban gateway, which has dyed the skyline of Houjie at a height of 250
meters/180 meters, becoming the Oriental aesthetic calling card of Dongguan, an
international manufacturing city. - ORIENTAL AESTHETICS
In high-density urban environments, iconic buildings should not only be presented as unique
wonders. Unlike the common “seeking height and uniqueness” and outward display in the
field of super high-rise building design, the Times Financial Center stands quietly with a
restrained and introverted open attitude, responding to the local cultural characteristics of
the city and building a local spirit of place. Using a restrained and restrained approach to
depict the elegant and solid architectural image of super high-rise buildings, the tower
volume rises layer by layer, injecting change and vitality into the concise and orderly
architectural outline, resembling the vigorous growth of bamboo joints, which coincides with
the development of the area. At night, the rising light strips reinforce the upward trend,
creating a beautiful scenery of neon city. The stable and low-key pedestal, exquisite
limestone, and copper facade decoration highlight the unique aesthetic charm of the East. - PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
The design is guided by public space and actively explores and attempts new urban
complexes, striving to optimize open spaces for citizens. The project combines the
slow-moving corridor system of the block with the spatial treatment of public art, creating a
unique walking experience for citizens. It creates a multi-level, multi-functional, and
experiential public open space, optimizes openness in an intensive venue, and defines the
urban nodes of the entire area. - SUSTAINABLE STRATEGY
The architecture of the project meets the design requirements of “China’s One Star Green
Building”, taking into account safety, durability, health and comfort, convenient living,
resource conservation, and livable environment throughout the entire life cycle of the
project. By adopting comprehensive optimization design, appropriate application
technologies, construction control, and operational management measures, the goal of green
building incremental investment is achieved with low maintenance costs. It embodies the
unity of economic benefits, social benefits, and environmental benefits. The carefully
designed thermal enclosure structure, natural lighting and ventilation, photovoltaic panels,
LOW-E three silver ultra white glass, sponge city and other energy-saving measures
effectively reduce the energy consumption of the project.
