Internationally acclaimed London-based design studio 1508 London makes its U.S. debut as the interior designer of the 54 residences, including two gracious model residences. “A distinct biophilic design language was integrated embracing elements of local nature, the Hollywood Hills, the neighboring ‘Golden Triangle,’ and Beverly Hills’ particular light to inform material and detail selections,” explains Leo Bertacchini, design director and principal at 1508 London. Organic forms are a signature detail throughout, from a selection of exquisitely curated furniture by 1508 London to the asymmetric curved leathered Taj Mahal quartzite kitchen islands and vein-matched Azul de Nordic marble vanities with curved corners.
Wide-plank Nordik White oak flooring and custom-designed Molteni kitchens with silver birch wood cabinetry infuse the residences with a tranquil, monastic sensibility. The materiality is carefully selected to complement renowned Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea’s lush landscaping, featuring an interior Bonsai garden in select residences.
All the touchpoints of the residences have been considered, including fixtures such as surface-mounted gas burners by PITT, top-of-the-line Miele appliances, and brushed stainless CEA fittings. 1508 London conceived three unique furnishings packages that can be delivered fully accessorized with Frette sheets and George Jensen silver for those seeking the ultimate convenience of a turnkey residence.
Reinforcing the epitome of hospitality, Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud will also be making his West Coast debut at the property, operating a private rooftop pool service and lounge and exclusive in-home dining experiences for owners.
