With a striking modern design, this project is one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful new luxury resort properties. The design achieves its luxurious effect through the exemplary design of the striking architecture, the sunken secret garden, and the superb pool areas. Every design aspect was carefully crafted to create a unique and splendid resort.
Hodges Bays’ site is bisected by major thoroughfare; however, the transition from one place to the next in the resort is never interrupted by this. The resort offers versatile and luxurious suites, seventy-nine villas, residences and open lots, three innovative dining options, five bars, four swimming pools, extensive leisure and sporting facilities for adults and families alike.
The Great House, a new dramatic open and spacious atrium building is accentuated with three levels of travertine cladding. The atrium and vertical green walls deliberately positioned in strategic places throughout the three levels make for a spectacular nature inspired and contemporary space. It is comprised of a restaurant on the third floor which sits on stone columns, a bar and lobby on the second floor that has access to the pool, and the first floor consists of a spectacular spa containing five therapy rooms, an advanced hydro-pool and relaxation areas. From this axis point, guests descend to the secret sunken garden with a 20-foot-tall waterfall, leading to a gateway under the road to access the beach, guest rooms, pools and restaurants maintaining a tranquil environment screening the road’s noise from the hotel experience, so guests sometimes are not even aware the road is above them.
The Caribbean’s bespoke travel destination guestrooms start at 460 square feet. All rooms boast private balconies and the latest in technology, including Amazon Echos for voice-activated oncierge services. For those who need the extra space, expansive one- to four-bedroom villas go up to 3,580 square feet, with the most extensive spread across three levels and the added perks of a private infinity pool and foldable glass patio doors for idyllic indoor-outdoor spaces.
