One of the most important aspects of this luxury abode by the sea is the color scheme. The colors used in the interior design should complement the natural colors of the sea and the sky. For example, shades of blue, white, and beige are perfect for creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. These colors were present on the walls, furniture, and accessories to create a cohesive look that is both stylish and relaxing. But did you know by introducing wood to the style, we ccreated a whole new atmosphere that does not only look aesthetically pleasing, but also naturally blends in with the sea.
Rustic look by the ocean, this is our main idea for this project. Ocean Drive, as titled, a luxury home located at the bay of the glamorous city of Singapore. It features an access to a view not all people could enjoy everyday. Therefore, we focused on creating a humble yet elegant space, in order for the inhabitants to focus on the beautiful scenery and ambiance it offers. The wood in this project created a warm and inviting atmosphere. A stunning bar located in the heart of the home features detailed fluted panels and shower of lighting from hidden LED strips. Connected to the family room, this makes the area perfect for hosting guests or parties. Humble living room design in white, with a comfortable sofa overlooks the ocean.
Natural light is essential for creating a bright and airy atmosphere, so large windows and sliding glass doors were present through-out the space. The study opens up to an airy garden just behind the unit. This enable inspirations to be drawn and the mind to be calm. With unique study desk, designed to overlook the outside, it is difficult to not get drifted away in the tranquility and peacefulness of the space.
In conclusion, designing a modern luxury home by the sea is all about creating a space that is both stylish and comfortable. The color scheme, materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories all play a crucial role in creating a cohesive and inviting space. With the right design elements, we have created a serene abode just by the sea.
