Since ancient times, Tianjin has prospered due to water transportation. It is located in the lower reaches of the Haihe River and straddles both banks of the Haihe River. Therefore, it is also known as the “heavy point of rivers and seas”. The river not only affects people’s lives, but also cultivates the local people’s unique feelings for large rivers.

This case extracts the natural form of the Haihe River and the traditional cultural elements with local characteristics in Tianjin, and tries to create a cultural ID card enhancing the image of the city in a modern and artistic way. At the same time, it combines the spirituality of water with the unique cultural symbols of Tianjin to create an open community space. The interior design uses a large-area arched back panel and the arc-shaped lines of the building’s floor-to-ceiling windows to make the overall space open and smooth. With the theme clues of “origin”, “deduction” and “continuation”, it creates an immersive experience space.
