G-loop explores urban office based on sharing, circulation and nature, in order to create a sustainable and happy office space. say put forward the concept of “exploring urban office boundaries” for group space. Traditional office space takes output value as the target. However, with enterprises are hiring younger workers, the office space is divided into three elliptical rings from the inside out, corresponding to three areas: FREE WORK, BASIC WORK and NO WORK. Inspired by the square, G-FREE WORK lays stress on the openness of the space. BASIC WORK meets the daily basic office requirements of all departments, while FREE WORK is covered by two runways for employees to have their leisure and exercise time in non-working hours.
The space facade is inspired by the TOTO bag, for it has symmetrical and rounded appearance, folded stitches and hidden hardware. The designer extracted the elements of the TOTO bag to be the major shape of the space. The exposed corner is rounded and polished, so the logic generated by sites reveals the concept of brand bags.
