Xi’an, known as Chang’an in ancient times, is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain, one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, where 13 dynasties had their capitals. The HWCD team uses an eclectic design vocabulary to turn art and elegance into a spatial language intertwined like a ribbon of the ancient and the modern to realize the ideal picture of the Chinese habitat.

With refined lines and moderate white space, the living room flows with a strong cultural flavor and artistic atmosphere between the collision of oriental charm and resort-style. The choice of materials with both comfort and texture and the inclusion of cream and onyx colors reveal the oriental style.

The dining room is mainly in calm black and gorgeous gold and matched with elegant design ingenuity, a dark rattan dining table, and chairs with white marble countertops, adding a sense of stability to the whole space. The elegant white jade-like dining plate renders the sleek flavor of oriental culture. The exquisite and artistic decorations make the overall feeling more elegant.

The master bedroom injects the concept of new-style aesthetics into the space. The background wall above the bed is like a sea of clouds, complementing the green pine outside the window. The natural method of attracting scenery into the room, whether furniture, wall paintings, or ornaments, dynamically presents static objects, integrating dynamism and vitality into the living room.

The combination of gray and white marble and the scenery outside the window adds a softness of the Eastern style to the bathroom, and the meaning of landscape on the wall is classical and atmospheric at the same time but also more visually layered. The dark color counter cabinet adds a quiet and elegant wind to the whole.

The children’s room is lively and fresh, simple and bright, with a fairy-tale-like mood, creating a space for children to explore and make dreams. Pink and green give the girl a romantic fantasy.

The guest bedroom uses Chinese ink as an inspiring element to show the random flow of waves on the wall. Drawing on the culture of the historical city, it preserves the intriguing and natural out-of-the-way quiet beauty to create a pure land.

The rattan bedhead and wall fixtures in the elders’ room reflect each other, giving the space a dynamic vitality between softness and rigidity, and refining the harmonious beauty of tranquility and ease. The round elements and soft fabrics everywhere complement each other, and the cotton linen carpet and recliner create the balanced elegance of Oriental Zen.
