Pla 2 project was inspired by freshwater fish, male fish, and female fish swimming side by side together. By dividing male and female residences apart, according to the characteristics of the male fish and female fish. The physical characteristics of the male fish are beautiful and small but for female fish is larger than. Designer dividing the function of use, the space is divided according to the gender of the fish. The big fish are the female quarters. A small fish is a male. With the activities of the type recreation is in front of the fish space on both sides. There is a shared bathroom at the back. There is a bathroom in the middle. The entrance is divided into two parts, the front can be accessed from underwater. The back was designed to resemble the door on a submarine to come together to form a body. For indoor space design by the reflection of the fish context. For interior lighting design, used indirect light. The light reflected from the water surface descends inward. In each zone, the internal overlapping surfaces, the slider intersects with the inner toilet before it penetrates and descends to the lake. Between the two fish masses are connected by a large terrace and designer design a large terrace for watching the stars too. There are recreational activities in front of the pool provided by the top with a Jacuzzi provided for use as well. The mesh seat in front of both fish bodies.
Material selections and construction details which based on the understanding of natural “on-water” condition has clearly shown. Light-weight and non-rigid materials such as shingle roof, Japanese pine wood and pine wood. For female building uses the shingle roof. For male building uses Japanese pine wood burnt. And connect the two fish building with pine wood. For elevation of the building, the elements of the fish are played. The spines of the fish are used to design. The bow provides a light effect for the fish.
Based on the design criteria, material selections and construction techniques, the owner and the designer believe that Pla 2 project will offer new destination with eye-catching architectural design outcomes.
