Adhering to the concept of nature, garden and field, we hope to design a new school system with a harmonious, pleasant and efficient educational environment established between the two natural forms of field and park. According to the new school’s planning scheme, classrooms are extended outdoors to integrate with the garden and the park, while extracurricular activities can be extended indoors to avoid weather effects. All these public activity areas act as irregular connecting media, uniting all spaces into an organic whole.

The organic and irregular growth form of branches and rhizomes is adopted as a spatial structure when designing the architectural form. While classrooms are arranged in the south-facing and south-east facing branches, other auxiliary function spaces are arranged in the east-west branch. Under the influence of the terrain and height difference, the undulating and rising roof and the educational spaces distributed on each floor are subtly connected into an interesting campus with no boundaries between indoor and outdoor space. In order to realize the design idea, we string the playground and the undulating roof together and seamlessly connect them with the building to form a larger hanging garden, and the playground runway also climbs to the roof and extends continuously. In this way, the educational building and outdoor activity space grow freely in an integrated form like an organic life.
