Next Town’s design includes five functional scenarios, integrates yearnings for urban life, and dissolves the boundaries between home and communities, creating boundless integration between humans, between humans and communities, and between humans and cities. It builds a metropolitan life that never sleeps 24 hours/7 days through new imaginations.

Architecture is no longer a lifeless, isolated existence but has blended with the large community environment to form an organism. It is morphologically coordinated, functionally continuous, and spatially complementary and integrated, achieving dynamic and harmonious unity.

—— Le Corbusier

At the initial stage of designing the Next Town, Anju Jianye teamed up with GND Landscape to deeply analyze and study target clients, industrial trends, and successful cases from the perspective of residents.

With support from data, the landscape is designed according to the “boundless” concept to integrate residents’ attitudes towards life, tastes, and living habits into the space, optimize life scenarios, and create a new world.

GND Landscape deeply interpreted the relationship between cities and architecture, conceived the theme from traffic streamlines, spatial transition, environmental friendliness, and other perspectives, and built deep links with nature, taking mountains, forests, sunshine, and other natural objects as components for the field spirit of the space.

Focusing on eight wonderful living scenarios, including transport convenience, supercenter, metropolitan office, and vitality theater, it conducted green, ecological landscape designs, diverse matching functions, and colorful neighborhood activities to create the new community scenario concept of comfort, safety, sharing, and intelligence.Through green and ecological landscape design, rich and diverse supporting functions, and colorful neighborhood activities, we have created a new community scenario concept that is comfortable, safe, shared, and intelligent.

Aggregate · Activate Spatial Extension of Community

A multi-functional format, including business, commercial office, and high-end residence, is formulated by planning a vertical, three-dimensional, windless, and rainless home-returning system. It is connected to rail transit underground, linked with the city’s public space on the ground, and joined with the elevated lobby, theme garden, and elevated floor in the air, creating an exclusive passage between different pedestrian flows. In this way, boundless integration is achieved between humans, the community, and the city to bring free, smooth flows throughout the city.

The city park combines the site and the surrounding environment in terms of functionality and design flow. Elements such as natural landscapes, forest trails, artistic sculptures, and recreational stools are placed in the field domain to make the space more public and experiential and attract residents to converse with nature most comfortably. The integration between nature and humanities adds more special life scenarios to the habitation of the ecological city.

Nature · Poetic Life Hiding in Nature

The theme courtyard abstracted the forest, valley, stream, and other natural elements and combined them to create a new garden landscape space for “rain forest simplest vacationing” and build an ideal natural habitation scenario integrating traveling, visiting, gathering, and living.

With a focus on creating scenarios, the design built a TOD residential area + children’s growth complex, where learning, extracurricular tutoring, sports exercise, nature knowing, and other educational activities can be finished in the community to create a garden community suitable for living and working.

“The door is the place to enter and exit.” The entrance is one of the forest-style spatial systems. With a focus on the human-nature relationship and considerations for achieving human orientation through details, the design integrated natural elements to create a relaxing feel in the space. The nature and modern feel also embody the design’s unique interpretations of life and aesthetics.

The hotel-style entrance echoes the architecture’s streamlined design. Its neat lines, natural landscape, exquisite tropical landscape, and plant clusters reflect a gentle power.

Angora gray imitation stones with delicate colors and stones with natural veins appear flowy and fully stretched, integrating a sense of nobility and a sense of order. Aside from conveying a grand, elegant quality lifestyle, it enables residents to feel the bold and lasting natural charm.

The courtyard space creates an upper layer of shade with open-crowned trees and is matched with multi-layered microscopic tropical plants with scientific explorations, such as tuber ferns, monstera, glory vine green velvet, and new pteris ferns. These plants are connected with the corridor and the garden landscape, allowing residents to create a leisurely urban life.

Five layers of plants jointly create a tropical forest exploration park to guide children to experience natural life. Walking into this site, one can experience the integration between sunshine, forest shade, wind, plants, and the environment. Children can run and play through the forest, chase butterflies and dragonflies, experience surprises in the classroom of nature, foster their interests, and make new friends.

The children’s space is designed based on the principle of interest. Colorful climbing games and diverse colors trigger children’s activity experiences, such as climbing, running, and jumping. The cartoon images deriving from the forest theme are romantic, lovely, and harmless. They can be members of children’s games and their lovely friends.

The light and agile water landscape waterfall and gentle and simple natural stone landscape wall are closely connected and penetrate each other, remaining relatively independent and presenting the beauty of natural intentions.

Meanwhile, the landscape wall brings mobility and significant directions to the space to guide people’s vision and behaviors, extending dynamics and tensions.

The design proposed the goal of building a neighborly center, a convertible water landscape and recreation platform, and a luxuriant tropical green plant enclosure space to build an artistic living space full of interest.

Living in this space calms people’s minds. Listening to the soft whispers of breezes and green trees, one can find the long-lost intimacy with nature.

Warmth • Recreate A Panoramic Scenario for Future Life

A recreation site suitable for all ages is built to create a comfortable “second reception room” and an aerobic site for getting close to nature. It covers diverse activity spaces to provide residents with a social recreation place suitable for all seasons, weather, and time.

The overall planning meets the growth demands of children in all age groups and strictly controls all scales and details to keep it natural and safe. Children can play here to their hearts’ content. Whether children love reading or art, they can give full play to their imagination and creativity inside this space.

The landscape space is given architectural functions to build a community cultural and artistic site. A series of cultural activities are implanted to create shared memories of the site and a sense of belonging to the community.

Several layers of plants are enclosed, allowing natural light to penetrate and shine on every corner. Tree shadows dance on the ground, making the cozy place for neighborly communication closer to nature.

The Next Town project’s landscape design emphasizes the characteristics and experience demands of the future target population, so as to build a complete ecological sphere based on full-age life and full product lines.

The mode of matching diverse slow traffic and humanistic activity scenarios builds a traffic service system with external convenience, core clusters, and internal comfort. Its in-depth considerations on multiple dimensions, including life, shopping, recreation, sports, body-building, and social contact, connect the entire courtyard in a natural tone and link architecture, landscape, and interiors into a natural conversing context that can be integrated into daily life.
